Management

Dr. Florian Schwandt, CEO, is a co-founder of the Faktor Zehn AG team. He is responsible for Sales, Human Resources and Finance.

After finishing university, the Doctor of Physics became a Developer of IT systems in the insurance sector. He has worked as a Consultant and Developer since 1995, and has taken on a number of Project Management roles. He has assumed various management roles in renowned German IT consultancies, specializing in the insurance market. From the end of 2004 he has been a member of the Board of Directors at Faktor Zehn AG.

Jörg Renger is on the Board of Directors at Faktor Zehn AG. He is responsible for marketing, business development and international business.

On completion of his business degree in 2000, Jörg held various management positions at international companies in the fields of insurance, IT and consulting both nationally and internationally. Most recently he was a Managing Partner and Project Manager at ConVista Consulting AG, heading up the Policy Management department.

Dr. Renate Hums is a co-founder of Faktor Zehn AG and is now a Managing Partner. She is responsible for the sales and service systems.

After studying Computer Science, Renate dedicated herself to the science and research surrounding database systems until she completed her doctorate. She then joined a large IT consultancy where, for 10 years, she specialized in modern technologies and architecture. Prior to joining Faktor Zehn AG she was responsible consultancy services for the introduction of J2EE based standard software for the insurance sector.  

Jan Ortmann is a co-founder of Faktor Zehn AG and is now a Managing Partner. He is responsible for product development.

After completing his Diploma in Computer Science he started his career at a large insurance company in Cologne. He then acquired extensive project experience as Consultant for a leading international software producer and then went on to hold the position of Technical Manager for a large provider of insurance solutions and oversaw the development of a various management and product systems.  

Martin Hinz is Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
